WHO WE ARE
Mujo Learning Systems Inc. was founded in 2014 and operates under the leadership of President Alex Strauss and CEO & Founder Shawn Moore.
Shawn brings 30+ years of industry experience, having educated and supported companies through his digital marketing agency in areas such as website development, SEO, and digital marketing strategy implementation. These initiatives have contributed to over a billion dollars in new business growth for clients globally.
Alex Strauss has been instrumental in leading sales and driving the company’s international growth. As President, he plays a key role in expanding Mujo’s global footprint, building strategic partnerships, and scaling the company’s reach within the education sector.
Mujo is an independent publisher focused on preparing students and professionals for real-world success in a rapidly evolving, AI-driven economy. Our curriculum spans digital marketing, artificial intelligence—including AI for healthcare—business, and entrepreneurship, with a strong emphasis on practical application and measurable outcomes.
We equip learners with in-demand, job-ready skills that enhance employability, support career advancement, and enable entrepreneurial success. Our programs are designed to build AI fluency across industries, develop strategic and critical thinking, and empower individuals to create, launch, and grow businesses in today’s digital-first world.
Through our comprehensive ecosystem of teacher manuals, student textbooks, instructional resource cloud, and courseware, we enable institutions to deliver modern, relevant education that bridges the gap between academia and industry; producing graduates who can contribute immediately, adapt continuously, and lead confidently in their chosen fields.
OUR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
For over 2 decades at the time, our President and CEO Shawn Moore was frustrated with hiring students fresh out of college and university to work for his digital marketing agency thinkprofits.com. Despite their recent certifications, they required retraining due to their education being based on outdated content and technology, often 2-3 years old. Digital Marketing changes so rapidly, Shawn saw an opportunity in building a solution for this problem.
In 2014, Mujo Learning Systems Inc was born. It began creating digital marketing textbooks, teacher manuals, syllabus, exams and teacher resource cloud and courseware under the leadership of our President and CEO Shawn Moore and his partner Adam Wilkins.
The Vancouver-based publishing company also partnered with Think Profits.com Inc., Shawn’s established digital marketing agency, to imbue its textbooks with the industry best practices and job ready, practical skills. The agency has been an industry leader for three decades, and all insights its professionals have shared are used daily to help their clients achieve their business goals. These processes are baked in to Mujo textbooks.
In addition, Mujo conducted extensive research, interviewed business leaders, created audiovisual materials, and more during the curriculum development process. Feedback from students and instructors was also key when it came to refining both the content and lesson planning elements of the publications.
After 2 years in production, the first textbooks with full curriculum were launched in April of 2016 through BC’s largest college, Sprott Shaw.
By the end of 2019, Mujo had released fully developed curriculum, textbooks, teacher resource cloud, and courseware with five titles: Digital Marketing Fundamentals, Strategic Web Design, Social Media Marketing Strategies, Writing Digital Media Content, and SEO-Search Engine Optimization.
As the Covid-19 pandemic swept across the globe, Mujo’s educational content gained significant traction. Between 2020 and 2023, building on the success of its initial offerings, Mujo introduced eight additional titles and expanded into the high school market. With over 20 titles currently in its library, plans are underway to further enrich the collection.
Mujo’s curriculum is widely used by Colleges, Universities and High Schools, in the United States and Canada with global interest.
